Beginning Violin Class!
|
Using principles from the Suzuki method as well as traditional violin teaching and with a curriculum of folk tunes from around the world, we will learn the basics of how to hold the violin and bow, play lots of musical games, start to develop our senses of rhythm and pitch, and read musical stories together. This class will also prepare students for a potential future in their school strings program!
Parents/caregivers will learn how to connect with their children through music practice and get tips for creating a musical environment at home. At the conclusion of the class sessions in December, students will have the opportunity to explore Ms. Claire's private violin studio to continue their studies! |
